Mega is a Civil Engineering graduate from Kathmandu Engineering College. She is the Network Coordinator at Harin Nepal, a youth led coalition promoting intersectional climate justice in Nepal. She identifies herself as an environmentalist, feminist and democrat and has been involved in grassroot movements and mobilization encompassing since 2018. Her major ventures include co-organizing ‘Oxygen is my Birthright’, an anti-pollution movement; ‘Save Nijgadh’ campaign; and Global Climate Strike in Nepal that saw massive youth engagement urging the Government to address climate crisis. Previously she worked at Sustainable Mountain Architecture and Rotaract Club of Mount Everest KEC as the Vice-President.
