Hamro Jatra was Nepal’s pioneering fair aimed at promoting a healthy lifestyle in Kathmandu. It had three objectives:
Launch mass community engagement for health and fitness
Create renewed interest in an active lifestyle
Successfully bring positivity and energy despite Kathmandu’s daily life challenges
Supported by Kathmandu Municipal Corporation and The Coca-Cola Company, Hamro Jatra was held in various World Heritage Sites around Kathmandu. The initiative attracted over 1,000 Kathmandu Valley citizens. Children and adults were encouraged to:
Bike, skate, run, and walk
Participate in community leisure activities like street games and dancing
