Our Green Shapers team was formed in 2019 under the “Awareness and Ownership of a Green City” project with a shared mission to create awareness regarding the climate crisis and environmental deterioration in Nepal and the world. We organize projects and activities that increase people’s ownership towards our community and consequently make the newer generations active participants in the movement for climate justice.

Over the past five years, we have published “Kalpavriksha: Climate Warrior’s Handbook”, “Advocacy Paper for Climate Resilience in the Himalayas”, “Policy Paper on Climate Resilience in the Himalayas” as well as “Climate Finance Access through Last Mile Policy Delivery Framework”. We also contribute in tree plantation activities, policy based dialogues and publication of policy papers that dictate the needs of the planet. Green Shapers project has helped few other projects spin off from its activities such as the Shaping Sustainable Resilient Agriculture project and the theme of the SHAPE South Asia 2023 event.
